All-New 2025 Suzuki Swift – A Detailed Review
Compact Perfection or Overhyped?
After daily driving a German or Italian car, you’ll realize that this is quite expensive to maintain. Sometimes, these cars can eat your paycheck whole. That’s when you start looking for a reliable, practical, compact vehicle, something like the 2025 Suzuki Swift.
A somewhat comfortable vehicle that can get you through Dubai’s intense traffic jams and is the perfect grocery getter. The 2025 Suzuki Swift gets the job done, gets through traffic jams, and is affordable, comfortable, and really practical. Swift ultimately checks all these boxes and more.
Al Rostamani Trading Company recently announced the launch of the 2025 Suzuki Swift. In this review, you’ll find everything you need to know if you want to buy one. But before we get into that discussion, let’s educate you a little about Suzuki.
Suzuki – An Overview
Suzuki is a renowned automobile manufacturer that produces reliable and fuel-efficient vehicles. Founded in Japan, the company has built a solid global presence. Its compact cars, motorcycles, and outboard motors are top-rated across various markets.
Over the years, Suzuki has continuously evolved, adapting to modern trends and technology. The brand focuses on delivering affordable and versatile vehicles for daily use. With advanced engineering and innovative designs, Suzuki remains a trusted choice for urban drivers.
Moreover, Suzuki’s commitment to sustainability has led to the development of hybrid and eco-friendly models. These efforts highlight its dedication to a greener future.
What’s New for 2025 Suzuki Swift?
There are a few noticeable changes exterior-wise. The new front headlights have a darker tint and aggressive-looking DRLs. The Suzuki logo has been shifted from the grille to the front of the bonnet, which has also been redesigned. The grille has been blacked out to give it a more sophisticated look.
The 16-inch polished alloy wheels add to its graceful design. Al Rostamani Trading Company is currently offering two variants of the 2025 Suzuki Swift: the Suzuki Swift GL, the base model, and the Suzuki Swift GLX, the top model.
Inside the Cabin
For it’s price, the Suzuki Swift’s interior is pretty good. It isn’t the most luxurious, obviously, but it sure is practical. You get central locking doors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a tilt-adjustable steering column, and height-adjustable seats.
You will notice rectangular AC grilles replaced with the previous circular grilles. It also has an x-shaped dual-tone dashboard and ample legroom space. Now you can fit your family of 5 to enjoy a trip comfortably.
The interior is entirely driver-focused. The first thing you’ll see when you get inside the driver’s seat is the fully digital LCD Speed cluster. The next thing you’ll feel is the cushioning at the shoulder and side of the front seats. As we said, it’s not the most luxurious, but it does better for its price.
You also get a 9-inch touchscreen, dedicated storage spaces, a Glove box, a Console box tray, Front cup holders, a Front door pocket, a Rear cup holder, and a Rear bottle holder. What more could you possibly want from a car worth AED 70,000-80,000? It is important to mention that this price is converted from US dollars as Suzuki UAE hasn’t announced the official price of the hatchback. Below is a table to display all the features:

Performance
A 1.2l engine producing 80 hp and 107 Nm of torque may not sound interesting. What does sound interesting, though, is the 22-24 km/l fuel economy and its power-to-weight ratio. The smooth CVT transmission enhances low-end torque for quicker acceleration.
HEARTECT platform
Just like the Suzuki Baleno, the 2025 Swift’s chassis is also based on the HEARTECT platform. Suzuki defined the HEARTECT platform as “The smoothly curving frame increases underbody stiffness to help ensure excellent fundamental vehicle performance. In addition, it also contributes to collision safety by efficiently dispersing impact energy.”
All-Purpose Suspension
The 2025 Suzuki Swift’s suspension is designed to be comfortable for the passengers while also gripping the road firmly. Therefore, you won’t have to deal with loss of traction in the new Swift. That’s because Teflon sheets on the stabilizer mounts reduce friction to help boost roll rigidity, steering feel, and vehicle posture when cornering.
Satisfying Safety
The all-new Suzuki Swift comes with adaptive Cruise Control and all the safety features. Among those features are Dual Sensor Brake Support II, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Prevention, and Traffic Sign Recognition. The Driver Monitoring System, High Beam Assist, Blind-Spot Monitor, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are also there, just in case.
Final Verdict
After carefully considering the 2025 Suzuki Swift’s price-to-value ratio, we think it’s good. Its competitor, the Kia Picanto, looks like it’s from Star Wars, but it’s better than the Swift. The Suzuki Swift does all the things you expect it to fail rather well.
Honestly, if we were in the market to buy a car in this price bracket, we’d be willing to compromise on looks, build quality, comfort, safety, or performance—all that for a 20-30-year-old sedan. That isn’t the case with the new 2025 Suzuki Swift, which has all that, and it’s brand new.
