Haval is back with a new SUV in the UAE. The Haval H9 has entered the UAE market and is ready to take on the SUV world. But do Haval cars have what it takes to compete? We’ll find out in a bit.
Haval
Haval, a prominent Chinese automaker, has rapidly gained traction in the UAE. It offers a range of stylish, feature-packed SUVs. Known for its affordability, cutting-edge technology, and impressive performance, Haval has made a strong impact in the competitive UAE automotive market.
With models like the H6 and the recently launched H9, the brand combines luxury with practicality, appealing to both family-oriented buyers and adventure enthusiasts. The H9’s arrival in the UAE is expected to elevate Haval’s presence further. It will provide a new option in the high-performance SUV segment that will challenge established global brands with a fresh and exciting alternative.
Haval H9 Vairents
Haval has launched the 2025 Haval H9 in the UAE with two variants:
- Haval H9 Medium
- Haval H9 V2 Dignity
Haval hasn’t confirmed the official price and specs yet. But worry not—we will keep you posted as soon as we have a word.
Exterior
No disrespect intended, but exterior-wise, the Haval H9 looks like a cheap copy of the LC300, especially from the back fenders. Other than that, the car looks huge yet elegant. Not a single thing on the exterior reflects its affordability, as everything seems top-notch.
Performance
The Haval H9 does settle for less power. Despite having a smaller price tag than most of the vehicles in its category, it comes packed with reasonable power. Both the variants come powered by a 2.0l turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This engine puts out 214 hp and 380 Nm of torque. That’s enough torque to tow a tractor.
You get a ZF 8-speed Automatic Transmission with 4WD to keep you planted on the tarmac at all times. You can also lock all of your differentials if you take the Haval H9 off-roading.
Interior
The inside is where the 2025 Haval H9 truly shines. Since it’s a full-size SUV, it comes with seven seats. These seats are actually perforated faux leather seats. You get a panoramic sunroof, which is mandatory for an SUV this size. The driver’s display is 10.25 inches, and if you think that’s huge, the infotainment screen is around 14.6 inches.
