You’ll Be Shocked By The Cars Donald Trump Drives

Donald Trump

Donald Trump is the current President of the United States, a politician, businessman, and media personality. Unfortunately, he cannot drive a car. In fact, he has not been permitted to drive since he was elected in 2016 due to a strict rule set by the Secret Service.

Following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, the Secret Service put several regulations into place. One of these prohibits both the president and vice president from driving themselves, even after leaving office.

This regulation simplifies the Secret Service’s process for protecting current and former presidents and vice presidents. However, we suspect Donald Trump may not appreciate this regulation. Looking at the cars he has owned over the years, it is evident that he has a passion for luxury cars.

At least The Beast and Air Force One serve as decent substitutes. But you want to know what cars reside in his garage? That’s why you follow the Arabwheels Blog to keep your automotive information up to date. Here’s everything you need to know about President Donald Trump car collection.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

Rolls Royce needs no introduction. It has been the choice of royalty for quite a while now. It only makes sense for a majorly successful businessperson, politician, or media personality to be chauffeured in a Rolls Royce Phantom.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

Rolls-Royce cars are the pinnacle of British engineering and are considered a benchmark for luxury cars worldwide. The powertrain consists of a 453-hp direct-injection DOHC 48-valve aluminum V-12 mated to a ZF six-speed automatic gearbox. The car was so smooth; you can balance a coin on its engine while red-lining the revs, and it won’t fall off.

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud

The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, produced from 1955 to 1966, is a classic symbol of luxury and craftsmanship. As a full-size luxury car, it replaced the Silver Dawn and marked a new era for Rolls-Royce.

The Silver Cloud’s 4.9-liter inline-six engine offered smooth, effortless performance. Its elegant design featured flowing lines, a long hood, and the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. The hand-built interiors were adorned with fine leather, wood veneers, and luxurious carpeting.

Renowned for its refinement, the Silver Cloud remains a timeless representation of Rolls-Royce’s dedication to unparalleled excellence.

Cadillac Allante

The Cadillac Allante, part of Donald Trump eclectic car collection, reflects his taste for unique vehicles. This luxury roadster, produced from 1987 to 1993, was Cadillac’s bold attempt to rival European convertibles. Designed by Pininfarina, its sleek Italian styling paired with American engineering was very sophisticated for its time.

However, the Allante’s underpowered 4.1-liter V8 and FWD left enthusiasts heartbroken. It lacked the performance punch to match its price tag. Trump’s ownership of an Allante highlights his appreciation for exclusive, albeit polarizing, automobiles.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

This was a revolutionary collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren. Almost every high–value individual with a refined taste in cars owns or has owned one of these. Apart from being an exceptional sportscar, it was also a wise investment, considering the going price for these nowadays is close to $1 million.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was a combination of Mercedes-Benz luxury and McLaren performance. The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren featured a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 that produced 617 horsepower. It was one of the first road cars to feature carbon ceramic brakes. Although it was released in 2003, it had a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, which is faster than many new sportscars.

Tesla Roadster

The 2010 Tesla Roadster was also among the few cars owned by high–value individuals with a refined taste in cars. Just like the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, the Tesla Roadster was a combination of British engineering and electrical performance. That’s because it was built on a modified Lotus Elise chassis.

It could reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.7 seconds—fast even by today’s standards! It was the first all-electric vehicle to achieve a range of over 320 km per charge. Only about 2,450 units were made, making it a rare collector’s item today.

Ferrari F430

The Ferrari F430 was the Ferrari 488 of its time. Whenever someone became successful, the first Ferrari they usually bought was the F430. Nowadays, they buy the Ferrari 458 or Ferrari 488. The point is, you don’t buy this kind of car if you’re not a gearhead.

Ferrari F430

It featured a legendary 4.3-liter NA V8 and an F1-style gearbox with paddle shifters, which allowed for ultra-fast gear changes. Not only was the gearbox F1 inspired, but the Ferrari F430’s sound also resembled an F1 car. The F430 was the first Ferrari to feature an electronic differential (E-Diff).

Lamborghini Diablo

The Lamborghini Diablo, featuring a 5.7-liter NA V12, was Donald Trump’s favorite car to drive in the past. All Diablos came with a manual transmission, so it’s good to know that the President knows how to drive stick.

Lamborghini Diablo

This skill is scarce nowadays. It had a top speed of over 320 km/h and could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It was also produced during the peak of Italian engineering, but shortly after, Lamborghini fell into financial trouble.

Cadillac Escalade

The Cadillac Escalade is the epitome of opulence, tailored to reflect Donald Trump’s affinity for luxury. This custom version of the already extravagant Escalade features gold accents, premium leather interiors, and state-of-the-art technology. Known for its commanding road presence, the Escalade takes exclusivity to the next level with personalized details.

With a powerful V8 engine and unmatched interior space, this SUV symbolizes both power and prestige. It’s a rolling statement of excess, ideally in line with Trump’s larger-than-life persona and his love for bespoke creations.

Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500 Pace Car

The Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500 Pace Car in Trump’s collection underscores his admiration for American muscle cars and motorsport heritage. This limited-edition Camaro features iconic racing stripes and bold styling.

Chevrolet Camaro SS

Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 producing 455 horsepower, it offers thrilling performance and speed. As an Indy 500 Pace Car, it holds a special place in automotive history. Its inclusion in Trump’s garage demonstrates his appreciation for vehicles that combine performance with symbolic importance.

The Beast

The Beast, Donald Trump’s presidential limousine, is an unmatched symbol of power, security, and technology. Cadillac designed this armored vehicle to withstand extreme threats while offering supreme luxury. It features bulletproof glass, reinforced steel plating, and an array of defensive systems, including tear gas dispensers and night vision.

The Beast

Inside, it features advanced communication tools and plush interiors. The Beast embodies Trump’s role as Commander-in-Chief and reflects his preference for vehicles that exude dominance. Beyond its practical purpose, it is a rolling fortress that epitomizes power and authority.
