2025 Infiniti QX80 vs Lexus LX600: Luxury Legends

0 6

Infiniti, Nissan’s sub-brand for Luxury cars, just got a revamped model for their QX80 lineup, and now it’s the most expensive Infiniti car that you can buy from their dealership. Now, considering the car, lineup series, and brand, it competes with the Lexus LX600.

Both are JDM brands and luxury sub-brands of the parent company. Now, both cars compete with each other. The QX80 will cost you AED 450,000, and the Lexus LX600 will cost you about AED 510,000.

Both are strong contenders and compete with each other.

Infiniti QX80

2025 Infiniti QX80 Review, Pricing, and Specs

Infiniti QX80, it follows the same path as their mid-segment QX60, but with more refined and premium feel finishes and some more hi-tech goodies add-on. Unlike QX60, it gets air suspension, head-up-display, heated and ventilated seats and 22-inch wheel rims, all packed in a leather wrap premium finish.

Under the hood, it’s a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 450 HP and cabin isolation is pretty great, engine sound stays silent even under heavy revs. The only problem we think are the air suspensions that can be fragile if you decide to go off-road, just like a Range Rover.

But, of course, it’s a car to enjoy the luxury drive and not a solid off-roader, if off-roading was the thing, Patrol could be a  better option.

2025 INFINITI QX80 Interior Features and Technology

Sit inside, the interior is great to look at unlike the Patrol which looks like 2009’s car. There’s a big wall screen that splits the infotainment and instrument cluster and below the AC grills, you’ll find another touch screen for controls and menu.

The whole interior is nicely packed in leather and aluminum, and the overall feel is great.

Lexus LX600

Lexus, Toyota’s luxury sub-brand to compete with German luxuries. The LX600 is a tough and capable machine with some beautiful stylings and luxury ride quality.  But of course, ride quality isn’t as good as German contenders like Mercedes GLS and BMW X7.

Under the hood, there’s a 3.4 liter V6 engine that makes 409 HP of power and a 10-speed automatic transmission and 4WD standard option.

Inside the cabin, it’s all a good and cozy environment and the side AC grills do look like that it’s a Toyota family. There’s one big 12.3” infotainment system and a beautiful instrument cluster that plays Netflix in 4k quality.

One thing we love about this SUV is the sound system. It comes with a 25-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system that supports Dolby 7.1, which you cannot find in any other contender, not even in the GLS and X7.
