Lexus LX700h In-depth Review
Lexus just introduced the LX700h for the UAE market. This addition was anticipated, as the flagship LX600 was not a very fuel-efficient car. But we’ll get to that in a bit. Keep reading as we review the LX700h. Before we dive into the in-depth review, let’s learn a thing or two about Lexus.
The Expensive Toyota
Lexus, Toyota’s luxury vehicle division, established a strong reputation in the UAE by delivering refined style and reliability. With dedicated showrooms and service centers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other major cities, Lexus customers appreciate performance and opulence.
Lexus’s diverse lineup, including sedans, SUVs, and hybrids, appeals to a wide range of motorists seeking premium comfort. The brand’s regular innovation, personalized customer service, and competitive financing options enhance its standing.
The UAE’s enthusiasm for high-end automobiles has positioned Lexus as a top choice in the luxury vehicle segment.
Trims and Pricing
As of now, Lexus UAE has only listed two trims on its website. The Lexus LX700h trims, along with their pricing, are as follows;
- 2025 Lexus LX700h Signature price starting from AED 590,000
- 2025 Lexus LX700h F Sport price starting from AED 635,000
If you want to ride in ultimate comfort, make a statement every time you go somewhere; the LX700h Signature is what you’re looking for. For our adventure-loving friends, the LX700h F sport is more, as evident from the name, sportier.
We’re just surprised that Lexus made a sports HEV with seven seats. It weighs more than an Elephant and is neither fast nor fuel-efficient. However, it is visually appealing, both from the outside and inside. Also, for clarity, a full-size SUV isn’t meant to be fast.
There is little difference between the two except for the F Sport alloy wheels and torque-sensing limited-slip differential.
Performance
Here are the performance stats of the Lexus LX700h;
Specs | 2025 Lexus LX700h |
Engine | V6 Hybrid |
Forced Induction | Twin-Turbo |
Displacement | 3500cc |
Transmission | 10-speed AT |
Drivetrain | Full-time 4WD |
Power | 457 hp |
Torque | 790 Nm |
0-100 km/h | 5.5 seconds (expected) |
Fuel Economy | 8.5 km/l |
Weight | 2857 kg |
To put that into perspective, the Lexus LX600, which is essentially a non-hybrid LX700h, has a fuel economy of 8 km/l, which is only 0.5 km/l less than the hybrid LX700h. It’s also faster and more powerful than the LX600.
A family SUV with seven seats that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds is impressive.
Convenience Redefined
The interior is where the Lexus LX700h truly shines. It is one of the most luxurious full-size seven-seater family SUVs out there. The quilted leather seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. There is leather padding, wooden trims, and smoked chrome accents throughout the interior.
Although the third-row leg and knee space is a bit congested, the front and rear passengers ride in immaculate comfort. The driver’s display is a 7” screen with a standard heads-up display. The central infotainment screen is 12.3”. The passengers can also enjoy K dramas on their rear entertainment screens.
Let’s not forget about the 25-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Audio System. What’s a family road trip without dads playing boring music?
Bold and Better
Exterior-wise, the Lexus LX700h looks quite pleasing. Especially since that massive chrome grille, which was quite elegant in the first place, has been blacked out. This adds a flare of sportiness to your everyday grocery-getter, but that’s what we want. Daily cars don’t have to be boring, right? At least, in our opinion!
The chassis sits on elegant 22” wheels, which are standard. The LX700h F Sport gets slightly sportier wheels. A moonroof and soft-close doors are also standard. The Triple Beam LED Headlamps with an Adaptive High Beam System are also worth mentioning.
Lexus does charge a lot, but they deliver well, and that’s what’s keeping them relative.
Safety and Technology
The Lexus LX700h’s dashboard comes equipped with not two but three screens. One for the driver’s display, one for the climate controls, and one for the central infotainment display. As is obvious, Apple Carplay and Android Auto are standard. Wireless charging is also offered in higher trims.
The LX700h comes equipped with the latest safety and driver assistance features. We will soon post a detailed comparison between the LX600 and the LX700 h for a more detailed analysis of the safety and driver assistance features of the Lexus LX700h.

Conclusion
