Hyundai Sonata 2024 Facelift vs. Toyota Camry 2024 | Best-selling Sedans from Korea and Japan
Best-selling Sedans from Korea and Japan
It’s the 21st century, and crossovers and SUVs are popular among people nowadays, but before that, sedans used to rule the roads. However, some people still prefer a sedan over an SUV due to their low price, better road stability, and good drive quality than an SUV of the same range.
For those people, the Sonata and Camry are the two best cars in the UAE market. Both are D-segment cars that offer everything you expect from a full-size family car. Sonata’s 2024 facelift has been introduced in the market with some new designs, but the Camry is not a bad car; it’s the icon of reliability in the worldwide market.
Here’s a one-on-one comparison of both cars, and we’ll know which two vehicles are best for whom.
Hyundai Sonata 2024 Facelift
Hyundai and Kia—these two brands always design something that looks like it came straight out of the Cyberpunk 2077 game. Don’t know if they have hired Cyberpunk’s game designers to design their cars or if they do time traveling because every car from these two brands looks extraordinarily futuristic.
But besides all that, the Sonata’s design looks good to us. Although some might not like it, for us, it’s an aggressive sheet metal that lives in the moment, and anybody can tell that it’s a 2024 modern car.
It’s spacious, the backseats are roomy, and the power-to-weight ratio is also great for this type of car. And if you’re planning to do long tours in it, like from Dubai to Ajman, it’s a great car for that, too.
Toyota Camry 2024
A Camry needs no introduction. It’s probably the UAE’s national choice for anyone looking for a full-option family sedan. It’s not bad, and it’s not so extra luxurious—just the perfect balance for what a family person demands from a car.
It’s spacious, good for a mid-size family, and boot space is enough to fit 3-4 suitcases for long trips. Inside the cabin, there’s nothing too fancy, but it’s not dull either. There’s a spiral design on the center console, and everything is easy to access from the driver’s side. The whole dashboard is nicely fitted with premium materials, and there’s no compromise on the material side.
