Porsche – Comfortable Sports Car?

The Porsche 911 is all about comfort and adrenaline. It was designed with this concept in mind: you can take it to the track, push it to its limits, and still be able to go grocery shopping after that. If you think it’s slow or it won’t have the McLaren performance, you’re wrong. It does the job better since it is meant to be a complete package. It holds its market value, unlike the McLaren, on which you can lose 50-60% of its value over the next five years.

It’s all about perspective, really. For a person who wants to enjoy the sunset sipping a Spanish Latte with his beautiful wife on the highway listening to Frank Ocean, there’s no better car than the Porsche 911. It has the power to outrun any vehicle on the road so you feel confident, and its roof opens so you can feel the cold air swinging through your remaining hair. What a wholesome evening! For the 26-year-old boy who wants to be the next Nikki Lauda, this is his first experience in the McLaren 720 S pulling 1.5 G-force, pushing him into the carbon-bucket seats with a 0-60 mph time in under 3 seconds; his heart beats rhyming with the rev limiter, the carbon-ceramic brakes turning the color of a volcano, the rear tires struggling to keep traction.
